Homeless & ReEntry Helpers Needs Your Help!
Homelessness and Persons In & Out of Our Prison & Jail Systems
are all of our Problems – HRH is Asking You to be Part of the Solution! |

We know there were 6,412
people that were returned to the Indy Metro (8 county) area from
Indiana’s Department of Correction last year. We know there are between
30 and 100 people getting out of our 8 county jail system daily. We
know there are between 4,500 and 7,500 people that are homeless in the
Indy Metro area annually, and it is estimated that there is an average
of 1,524 people living on the streets of Indy at any given time. We
know there are an untold number of persons without gainful employment
that are one paycheck away from being homeless. Most of them could use
and/or need a little help getting back on their feet so they can be
productive citizens again. |
